Melges Events
My duties as Director of Marketing included multimedia reporting on many of the big Melges championships in the Scow and sportboat classes. My event coverage often included:
· constant social media reporting throughout each day (example)
· a short 1-minute 'hype' video after the first day of racing (example)
· a photo gallery published each day before racing the next morning (example)
· management of the Class website I made (example)
· eblast to the class members, nightly (example)
· a press release before and immediately after the event — or daily reports
· a longform 3-minute video promoting the Class with multiple interviews, drone footage, onboard footage, 'regatta experience' lifestyle footage, published within 1 week (example)
